Stephan Winter
Stephan Winter (PhD, 2012) is Professor of Media Psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany. His research interests include information selection as well as opinion formation and expression in online contexts. A particular focus lies upon the impact of new communication technologies on persuasive outcomes (e.g., microtargeting, misinformation). Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Persuasive Communication at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and received his PhD from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
