Martin Jansen (‘91) is currently a researcher/PhD student at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. He holds a master’s degree in Communication Science from Radboud University and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the HAN University of Applied Sciences, both in The Netherlands. Martin joined the chair of Prof. Dr. Nicole Krämer, Social Psychology, Media and Communication in 2020. His research will focus on Online Political Microtargeting (OPM) and targeting disclosures that can be used to inform receivers and contribute to a higher level of transparency.
